SAN MATEO WFO CONFERENCE
OCTOBER 9-12, 2008
GENERAL REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Pre-registration begins June 16, 2008 and closes October 3, 2008. All confirmations will be sent via email, unless a stamped, self-addressed envelope is included with the registration. The registrar will be on vacation July 23 – August 10. No confirmations for registrations received during that time will be sent until August 12. Field trips and workshops will be filled in the order registrations are received, based on postmark or email date.

The Saturday night banquet has space for 150 people. Please send your registration early if you would like to attend.

Payment can be by check, Visa or MasterCard. Please make all checks out to WFO. There will be an 80% refund if your cancellation is received by September 15and a 50 % refund after Sept. 15. No food refund for cancellations after September 30.

Friday and Saturday field trips will be in the morning, returning about 10:30AM. They will conflict with the workshops so please register for either a field trip or a workshop.

Pelagic trip registrations must be made through Shearwater Journeys. Shearwater Journeys is pleased to offer a special WFO DISCOUNT on each trip. The discounted rates are: $155 for October 9 (regularly $185) and $115 for October 12 (regularly $145) per person, NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON. A WFO registration table will be set up in the Marriott Hotel. Packets of information for each participant should be picked up at this table. Open hours will begin Wednesday, October 8 at 5PM. Additional registration hours will be posted.
