
From time to time, WFO offers extended tours and expeditions, often to international birding sites of special ornithological interest. Some expeditions focus on research while others offer expert leadership and access to places usually inaccessible to the general public.

Cuba with Jon Dunn - October 26 - November 6, 2010

Western Field Ornithologists is collaborating with the Caribbean Conservation Trust, Inc. on this US government approved trip which will visit rarely explored parts of Cuba, the Caribbean’s largest and most ecologically diverse island nation. This is the 3rd program that WFO has collaborated with CCT on since 2006. Along with WFO leader Jon Dunn, our team will include Dr. William Suarez, paleo-ornithologist with the National Museum of Natural History in Havana, a bilingual Cuban tour leader, and local naturalists.
