Western Field Ornithologists is an organization exceedingly rich in talent and energy. As a result, we can use your support and are efficient about putting your donations to good use.

There are many ways you can support WFO:

  • One is by giving gift memberships to people who are not yet members. We all know active birders, academic and amateur ornithologists, agency biologists, and others who would love to benefit from WFO membership but who are not yet aware of what we do. Why not simply buy them a gift membership for a year? This helps support what we do, allows you to make a thoughtful gift, and introduces your friends and colleagues to our organization.

  • You can also support field ornithologists as they present their work or travel to our conferences. WFO offers student travel grants and youth scholarships.

  • A donation to our San Miguel Publications Fund will help us expand our offerings, including new books and a new monograph series, while maintaining the high quality of Western Birds and funding continued free public online access to back issue content.
